Hello Everyone,
New here. I live in coulee city Washington. Join the community because I want to get some chicks and want to be fully prepared before I get them. Plus I was trying to find the chicken ordinances for coulee city and this site popped up. So I figured why not plus I love to learn and figured people who have already done it and raised chicks I figured it would be a great learning experience to read what other people have gone through

I also wanted to make the suggestion of adding some general location information to your profile so should you ever ask the community for an assist with anything in the future you wont have people in a near tropical environment giving you poor quality advice, you can do that under the account button, then personal details and fill something in the location box and save. Hi and welcome to BYC...you came to just the right place to find friendly people and lots of helpful advice on raising your chicks. Just know that they're very addictive. I started out with 4 hens and 2 roosters- 1 was given to me. And now I'm up to 6 chickens, 4 roosters, and 12 chicks!!!
