I used to live in England (Birmingham) and I think it's great you're taking in battery hens, they really could all do with loving homes. I have heard great stories about the way their lives have been turned around for the better after that horrible start to life... I hope you find answers to all your questions here, and that we see you more around the forum

from Alabama. Glad you joined us. There are several people on here that have adopted them. The closest we've come is a broiler that fell off a truck a couple of years ago. She was almost completely featherless & scared of everything at first but ended up living a little over a year with us. Good luck
