We are happy to be apart of BYC and to interact with other chicken fans. I am a newbie to owning chickens (my husband is more of the expert compared to myself), and I had no idea I would love these creatures so much. We are the proud owners of Americaunas, Dark Brahmas, Jersey Giants, Blue Copper Marans, and Cornish Hens. Between layers, and meat birds we have about 50 birds. We are also incubating about 40 eggs (first time ever). Between the food and the company these wonderful creatures have provided, we want to take as good of care of them as they do of us.
