hello everyone!
I guess you can say that I've been stalking BYC for awhile now. lol. I am a complete newbie to chickens and so far it has been great and the kids love it too!

we started out with 5 1 day old chicks. sadly 1 did not make it.
we have 1 of each: buff orphington(Tinker),black austrolorp(Pixi), RIR(Buffy), and a white rock(Ming-ming).

the girls are now 8 weeks old and doing great. it so fun to watch them. the white rock loves to "steal" things from the other girls and she is lightning fast!

I have read alot of great advice on here and I am looking forward to reading alot more.
