My wife and I had been throwing around the idea of getting a few chickens for a while, but not too seriously. Well two weeks ago she came home from TSC with 6 "assorted reds" and all of the extras (feeders, heat lamp, etc). I'm not really sure what "assorted reds" are so if anyone could give me a little insight that would be great! The purchase of our new friends sent me into a frenzy to retrofit the old corn crib in our barn into a chicken coop. It has come along nicely, just need to finish a few things. Maybe when I'm done I'll try to figure out how to post a few pics.
