Hi everyone, I'm new here and I have a lot of fun with chickens and have some rare ones I'd love to start sharing with everyone. I live on a small farm in town, the epitome of "daddy won't sell the farm." Encroached by schools and urban housing, I'm hanging onto what is left of the family farm.

Currently I have Blue Isbars and Cream Legbars as my only auto-sexing breeds. I am hatching some Marraduna Basque chicks at the moment. I also have Ameraucana, Buff and Lemon Cuckoo Orpington, Silver penciled rocks, Rhode Island Reds, Black Ostralorps, White Leghorns, and Welsummers. I hope to acquire a small flock of Dorkings in the Spring and carry on the breed since it is endangered. I would like to maintain these purebreds and also try my hand at bringing back the Dorbar breed.

If you are interested in Blue Isbar hatching eggs, there are probably only about 200 of these chickens in the world according to Greenfire farms. I have 6 available right now that I will probably put up for auction on Rarebreedauctions.com.

Look forward to talking with you all!

John

from NH. Have you seen the auction section here? I just saw some of the Cream Legbars on there yesterday. Pretty birds.
