My name is Julia. I am 24 years old, have 2 boys, and am married to a military man. I am currently in school for cosmetology. I am fairly new to raising chickens. I got my first set on April 15 of this year. I have 9 chickens. 2 Barred Rock, 2 White Rock, 2 Easter Eggers, 2 White Leghorns, and a Rhode Island Red Rooster. The Rocks are 13 weeks old, and the other 5 are 4 weeks old. I came across Backyardchickens.com when googling about chickens while deciding if it was the pet for me. My other hobbies include gardening and reading.
