Hello I am new to the site. I have some chickens and found this site through google. I hope to meet some people from my area and to just join in and learn some more about chickens and help others where I can. This site might help me find the close by poultry clubs or meets. I got into raising chickens because the daughter wanted to get some, It was a good idea but a tad addictive LOL We have black australorpse, modern games, barred bantoms, old english, milly flirs so far. I would like to get more of the barred bantams I really like them so far. The black austalorps seem to eat alot compared to the bantams but are good looking birds and lay huge eggs. My other hobby is wood turning I make custom hunting calls. Later I may post some pics of the chicks and maybe some custom deer grunts or duck calls. Let me know of any clubs or chicken swap meets or shows.
