We have 4 Muscovy ducks (3 female, 1 drake).

We got them around August, 2017 and this was my first time ever taking care of ducks or anything like ducks. So, I am very new to this!

The girl’s started laying eggs in March and they’re starting to hatch now. We now have 4 ducklings and more on the way!

So far you guys have been a big help! I will get the hang of it eventually :)! I really do love having my ducks and I just want to do what’s best for them.

By the way... everything was easy until they started laying eggs. From nest that were too
Large to flystrike with some of the ducklings. Is it always this difficult? We have lost many from the first nest. I’m trying to do everything I can but I am still learning. Does it ever get easier?

Welcome! :yesss: We are glad you joined our flock!
Jump right in and make yourself at home.
The more you learn the easier it gets.
Sometimes the learning has to be hands on. ;)
Reading helps to learn too.
