I've wanted some chickens for a while because I love fresh, delicious eggs! My husband just sort of ignored me, lol. Then we started talking about moving toward a more "paleo" diet. I said we'd need to find some nice farm fresh eggs. Then he said "we could get a couple chickens!"... I'm like, (blink...) "great idea honey" So I've been on the Internet all say and came across this site. Thanks! We plan to build/buy a coop in the next month and time it right to surprise our kids with a few chicks for Easter.
