Hi everyone!
My name is Kate, I'm 21 from Swansea in South Wales and 6 weeks ago, me and Mum rescued four ex battery hen chickens from slaughter; Rocky, Bella, Poulette and Bossy. I'm very new to chicken owning but I've loved having the chickens, they bring so much life to the garden and are so affectionate! I've had many a moment with them!
I'm looking forward to becoming an active member on this forum and will definitely need to pick at your brains as there are a few questions that I need to ask. When I get onto my own computer, I'll post a few pictures.
Apart from looking after the girls, I have a Rottweiler X Mastiff who is currently needing TLC due to rupturing a ligament as well as 2 hamsters, Noodle and Olga so right now, the animals are my life. When I'm not looking after any form of animal, I'm in university and am now in my final year of a Psychology degree! My boyfriend fits in all of this however, he knows where he stands in the pecking order
I better start looking around this forum!
