I have 4 about 16 week old hens they act and look very healthy, but one of my girls has very runny stool no blood in it. Any idea why this its happening.

the little girl with the poo problem its the spotted one. I'm not sure of the breed of my girls I'm very new to this

was she like that before the melon? none of that is proven and i would rather be safe then sorry. i heard the pumpkin seeds and i did that for a few yrs. but i did have to worm mine anyway.

the flock master liz gives you a good site and i am quite sure she knows what she is talking about. there are a lot of normal's. you have a beautiful flock. i would check into some wormers though.

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

The poop in your pic is a normal poop from the cecal pouch. The birds pass a few of these a day. They are brown, liquidy, stinky and sticky.

If there is truly blood in the poop all the time, then they have coccidiosis. You would need to give them Corid or Amprolium in their water for 5 days. But this poop in your pic is normal.

Welcome to our flock!
