I got ducks from a buddy as a present for Easter and have managed to keep them alive in a house with a great dane and a weim. Had my first crushing experience with a preditor in the quack shack yesterday. ...one down

I caught the raccoon in the coop....my weim chased it but didn't get it. Im putting them in my basement ina kennal at night. Ive been following you guys for a while to get duck info. So glad to be with you now in threads.

Any idea how ducks protect themselves? One of the drakes had blood on his chest and beak but when I cleaned him up he was fine?
