I am new to Chickens and everything about them, well except eating them. I joined this site to get educated about housing and raising them. My family, myself, husband and 2 kids, live out in the country. I want to raise chickens for the eggs. Since my kids are young I feel this is a great opportunity to learn about raising animals other than dogs, cats and fish. I grew up raising beef cattle and horses, so this will be a learning curve for me. Thank you for allowing me to join this site and I hope to get lots of great information.
