Good morning, everyone. Just getting started here. We have the coop mostly done now I am trying to find started pullets in my area to purchase. Really interested in Buff Orpingtons and Americaunas. We live on the county/city line so I don't won't any roosters. Right now I just want to raise the chickens for eggs but once I get used to the idea would like to raise chickens for their meat as well. I look forward to learning everything I can from the wonderful posts I see.

I have an old friend that lives in Lakeland. She works at Purina MIlls. My beloved Detroit Tigers have theri spring training there, as well. So, even though I've never been there, I love Lakeland lol.
