I just purchased 7 baby chicks 3 Americaunas, 2 Easter Eggers , 1 Swedish and 1 Polish they appear to be from 2 days - 5 days old I'm a little concerned about the health of a couple of them they have reddish bare spots on the back of their necks no dermatitis but I believe from being pecked Andy suggestions? happy to have found this site

! Pleased to have you with us! Sounds like you might be right - others pecking at them. If it continues the aggressors will keep on pecking and you might have to isolate them from each other so they can heal. Good luck and take care!!

Redsoxs thank you for your kind response I'm a bit nervous about the "hatchery" where I got them and will keep my eye on them all the best
