With a due date of June 25th it sounds like you may have ordered from Longhorn in Buxton. If so they are really great. Some of my feathered friends came via them this year. All are doing well too.

Yeah, we ordered from Longhorn as a last minute descision. I had wanted to order from them, but there was a seminar at a local hardware store and my boyfriend got attached. We went to order, they couldn't get us the breeds we wanted and quite frankly knew nothing about chicks. We're really happy that we ordered through Longhorn.

No. Longhorn is just a local feed store. The local source for Poulin grains. And they deliver which is great for me since my truck broke down. They order most of their chicks from Cackle. They will also do special orders if they can find a source. I've found they have the best local choice of breeds that can be ordered. Including peafowl for those who are interested in them.
