I am new to chickens. I currently have five pullets. One of my Golden Comets is ready to lay. I have been checking with the BackYard Chicken forums frequently to find answers to questions about sex, feed, etc. I read quite a few books prior to starting and am reading one now so I have as much information as possible to be successful.

One of my biggest challenges so far is feed. I want to go strictly organic, but it's very tough to find organic feed in my area and shipping costs are outrages for small amounts.

I found out today that my local feed store is stocking Blue Seal Organics. Has anyone used this product?

I typed Blue Seal into the BYC search bar and found three threads. Try that and see what folks think (it seemed positive).
