Hello from Massachusetts

Hi. We are a small family in Massachusetts that had a small flock several years ago but then were chickenless for a while. Last year we purchased three Buff Orpington chicks and later in the summer two unknowns that we now believe to be rhode isalnd red crosses (our six year old son LOVES "his" chickens by the way). We enlarged our pen last weekend and are getting ready to introduce three young pullets (RIR) soon so now we have eight girls. We also have four button quails, five dogs, one amazon parrot, one parakeet and fish. I found the backyard chicken website by surfing the web. Looking forward to learning all we can about chickens and hearing stories from other fanciers.
