Hello all, my name is Lorrie and I am a newbie. I have been lurking awhile but now that I have my chicks I figured I would introduce myself. We live in the Northern part of Md right near the PA line. My hubby and I have been married for almost 12 years and we have two daughters who are 8 & 9. We also have a boxer named Roxy. We live adjoining the 116 acre family farm in the house we just built so now it is time to start our flock. We just picked up our first 4 babies yesterday. They include a splash showgirl, a splash silkie and two blue silkies. They came from Hattrick Silkies who were absolutely wonderful at answering questions. We plan to add a group from Indigo Egg next. Our daughters are in 4-H and we plan to breed and show these wonderful babies. We would love to start attending events within a couple hour range. Here is one of the pics of our new babies who are brooding happily in our master bath.
