Hello, everyone! I am new to keeping chickens. We have 6 hens. 2 BR 2 Easter Eggers, 1 RIR, and 1 black australorp.
We wanted to have fresh eggs and I have always wanted to keep chickens.

I keep a garden so my family can have fresh veggies. I found BackYard Chickens while researching and found great info on the site. Loved the fact that I can talk with fellow chicken lovers in my area. Looking forward to being a member.
