Hello, everyone! So happy to finally join this great community!

My name is Erin Blegen and I'm a happy homesteader at Yellow Birch Hobby Farm where we raise our 40 chickens, 12 ducks, 2 rabbits, and 1 lonely dog .

We will be specializing Spring 2014 in breeding true Araucanas and Black Copper Marans. Very excited for this!

I to breed Araucanas keep in touch maybe we can trade some eggs or young stock in the future. Look at my avatar pic, she is so broody, will sit on eggs until they hatch then sit on nothing until I give up and give her more eggs. she won't lay more than 3 eggs before going back to being broody.

Steve- yes, let's keep in touch! It would be fun to swap some eggs I can't hardly wait to start- I ALMOST gave it a go before winter, but thought better of it. It gets miserably cold here and with the amount of money I will be putting into my breeding stock, I don't want to risk losing any due to my impatience ...but I'm READY!
