HI from Texas! Good luck I'm new too and have yet to decided what breed to get. For me thats the hard part. I have planed my coop and brooder, but can't decided weither to order online and pay extra shipping charge or start out with what I can get at mylocal feed store. Wish you good luck and yeah this is a great place for information!

Thank you to everyone for such a warm welcome. I love all your families. So much to write and so little time. I just opened a massage therapy business and work during the day. And like all of us....there is always work around. I can't wait to do some reading. I also do not know much about breed, caring, feeding, cleaning and anything else that comes to raising beautiful chickens other then what I have read already. Thanks again and look forward to reading and replying....
