Hey there,

I built a coop and bought my chicks earlier this year and I'm currently in the full swing of things. I used backyard chickens a ton throughout the beginning of my coop building and chick raising process, but I never created an account. I feel like I've learned so much that I wanted to be able to share some of my experiences!

I live in Nashville, TN, about 5 minutes from downtown, but have plenty of space in my backyard for lots of chickens. Right now I have 6 Golden Sex-links that lay 6 big brown eggs everyday and love people (almost to a fault when they ambush unsuspecting guests). My wife and I had a blast planning and building our coop out of almost all reclaimed materials, and once I'm granted posting permission, I'll share my coop plans and pictures here.

Welcome to BYC! I've always wanted to visit Nashville (the Capitol of Country Music!). Your ladies are beautiful and I have to admire your pretty dog too! I hope you enjoy BYC and the wonderful community members too. :)

Hello Hello! Greetings! I am a new member, but a little unlike most members, as I have not and do not have a coop, but have found a well taken care of and recently molted chicken in downtown Nashville today November 14, 2016. Would anyone happen to want her/him? Or know someone who may?
