(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Through 4H we incubated 12 eggs and hatched 8. 1 pullet and 7 roosters. I can't have chickens per my HOA so we gave away the 7 roosters to a friend and the pullet is lonely! They were all hatched June 24th or so. This is all new to us. We love our pullet but need to get her a friend.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Well that is an evolving number currently. We have 1 pullet named Tail Feathers. She is around 8 weeks old and we have one pullet on borrow from a friend that is 4 months old and I got 6 new rainbow or red ranger chicks (hoping all girls) from TSC last night. All 3 lots are separated right now.
(3) What breeds do you have? Tail feathers is maybe a Leghorn. I am not sure. The 4 month pullet is a Red Rhode Island and the chicks are either Rainbow or Red Ranger. TSC was unsure
