Hello from Nevada

I'm Bev, I live in Nevada between Mt Charleston and Death Valley California. I have had my eight chickens since November 3, 2010 (day olds from MyPetChicken). I have two teenage boys, four Belgian Malinois (dogs), three and a half Border Collies and one Patterdale Terrier. We moved here to help my elderly parents out when I was laid off from the School District in Calif due to budget cuts. (we live on one side of town, they live on the other) So my days are very busy checking on everyone and taking care of everyone. My 4 Rhode Island Reds and 4 Barred Rocks seem to enjoy it here, they free range except for their egg laying time/sleep time in the coop. I'm totally hooked, working on a larger coop to get ready for more day olds arriving in June.
