We are currently designing and building our coop from the materials saved from an old building on our property. I hope to add chickens this spring. I have a lot to learn first. We are very excited to get chickens and have fresh eggs. My daughter (age 3) will not eat grocery store eggs, only the "yellow kind" from a woman down the street with Rhode Island Reds. I figured since the kid figured it out, it was time to get our own chickens.
