Hello! My name is Sarah and I am originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, but now live outside of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania! My husband and I got out first chicks (Dominiques) a little over a month ago and it has been quite the experience! While it was devastating losing 2 to illness in the first week, we have had a lot of joy watching the other 5 grow bigger and develop unique personalities. Because my friends and family back home are shocked to learn I am raising chickens, I have decided to keep a blog to keep them updated and entertained.
