Hello from NM!

Hello All!
I'm Kathy...I've been browsing this site for a couple of months now.
We just got our girls this week, so I guess I'm a chicken Mom now!
We have 6 hens to start...they are all about 4-5 months old.
We have (1) Rhode Island Red, (3) Americaunas & (2) Big Blacks
I'm not sure who is more excited about the addition to our family, our 8 yr old son or our 2 youngest dogs (both 1 yr or younger)...the older dogs (11 yrs old) aren't as interested!
