We are the proud new parents of 3 baby chicks. We are complete newbies!! We have a 4/5 week old Rhode Island Red and California white and a 1 week old easter egger! They are adorable

Welcome to BYC! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

Sounds like you are enjoying your new babies! They sure are adorable and fun to watch. But be warned, they grow FAST!

Welcome to BYC please keep watch that the older chicks do not bully the youngest (EE)/ Older chicks don't require the high temps. in a brooder that the younger ones do. If you brooder is large enough the older chicks can migrate to the cooler side.

I have them separated for now. We originally had 3 the same age but one of them passed away at about a week and a half. So we ended up getting another one. She is in her own brooder next to these 2. We pull them all out to play together and they do fine but I not gonna put them together until the baby gets bigger

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! Congratulations on your chicks :celebrate Raising chicks is a very rewarding experience as you watch them grow into adult birds. If you have not already drop by the learning centre for some great articles on raising chicks https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center
