Hey everyone! I guess you could say I've been lurking about for sometime and just deiced to make an account! I am a young homesteader who is constantly seeking more self reliance from my land. I live with my fiance on 5 acres in the rolling hills just west of Winston Salem.
Our adventure stared 3 years ago with a large garden. It progressed to include 6 chickens for both their eggs and garden fertility, a mini donkey for protection, and now a pregnant Nigerian Dwarf goat and her wether buddy!
We are still growing and hopefully soon we will have more chickens, dairy goats, pharaoh quail!
