Hello from North Port, FL

This is Big Mama. She is clearly at the top of the pecking order & is the largest of the four. I think she'll lay soon, because this was her coming out of the house about an hour after being let out . She's the only one that went back in as far as I know.

The small grey hen/pullet? In the front is Hannah. She is already coming to me when I come near the coop. She is the lowest in the pecking order, or big mama just ignores the others. Either way, she us sweet!

This is my lil girl Emily Jane holding the smallest CB. Emily named her Rosie. The two are getting along wonderfully so far.

Thank you Sourland. Both the hubby & I are excited to be raising chickens. We had our first egg today! The hubby is sitting in his camping chair with the girls as we speak. If we can't sit by the water (in Florida- gulf side), than we find sitting with the girls very relaxing after work.
