I have been lurking here for a few months now - seems like a friendly place for me and my chickies.

I am Penny, mom to 4 kids and some chickies! I am very new to this chicken raising thing but love it so much that I wish I would have started a long time ago. We have about 4 acres and there was a beauty hen house here when we bought the place. I hope you don't mind if I ask lots of questions as I am such a newbie and sometimes I am not exactly sure if I am doing the right thing with my birds!
