Hello,
I have been a member for over a year but just recently started posting. I have 18 chickens and have been getting answers to all my questions right here on BYC.
I built a new coop this year approx 5'x16' 100% recycled materials, even the shingles I was able to get free on Craig's List.

Chicken List:
White Leg Horn's
Easter Egger's
Golden Comet's
Silkie's
Barred Rock's

The coop looks great but keep an eye on the condition of your Silkies. They could take a beating from your larger birds, especially with 18 chickens in a 5' X 16' coop.
