Hello From Ohio

Hello everyone! I was pretty excited to find this forum for the coming times I am sure to have!

My name is Angela and I'm 29 years old and I live in a small village/township right outside of Kent, Ohio. My husband suggested a few months ago that we get chickens, as he had chickens, pigs, etc as a kid and we picked up our first pullets last night! We currently have 5 Silver Laced Wyandotte pullets that are about 12 weeks old and have been hand raised. We're considering getting a rooster, but we want to give the little ladies some time to settle down first. I'm really excited about becoming a chicken owner and I'm very glad to have found a site such as this!
