Well, I am sorta new to chickens. We have had some before when I was little, but only a handful. Now, I am married and have one son, we decided to start getting some chickens. The idea is for us to have fresh eggs and then let my son sell the others to give him some money for basketball & football games and school activities and to give him responsibilty! We have 6 grown hens, 3rhode island and 3 black and white hens that I have no clue. Then we have 20 middle size chickens that my husband went and got. We also have 12 baby rhode island reds. Keeps me and my son busy since we have all 3 groups separated. Looking forward to learning lots about chickens!

from one new member to another. If you are looking to learn more about chickens, you've hit the jackpot. I can't believe how wonderful the people are and how much I've already learned.
