Hello from Oregon

I’ve had chickens for about 10 years. A raccoon recently decimated our flock except for one. I got 5 new chicks of all different breeds. The babies are still in the garage, only 8 weeks old. I selected breeds to make colored eggs! About a week ago I rescued 2 adult girls from Oregon fires. I believe a white leghorn and blue andalusian. Suddenly I’ve got 8 chickens when I’m really only allowed 3 oops .
I got carried away

Our village ordinance has some WEIRD wording and I may be only allowed 5 chickens unless kept inside my home? Which makes no sense unless I'm understanding it wrong we have 12 (not indoors!)
