i just joined the site. i just became an owner of five chicken about 3 months ago an gotta say i really enjoy them we have 3 rohde island reds, a black hen not sure what kind she is, and a gray/black one with a yellow head not sure what she is but she is the softest one out of all. i joined hopeing to get some help about one of my rohde islands reds that got attaked by a racoon i posted it in the injuries, emergence section so if anyone has any info for me that would be great. thank you.

i have not seen your post but basically perform standard first aid, isolate her, keep her warm and calm and either she'll make it or she wont.

trap the coon with a have-a-hart.. but dont have a heart just dispatch it if you know what i mean.

i'm considering the medford/grants pass area - are you anywhere nearby? send email if you have any info
