We were raised with chickens running around the property, but we are new to raising chickens'; the chicken pin, house and all the stuff that now goes with the title.

We bought 25 Sexlinks to start out with. We've had them for about one year, and we are ready to pass them on to neighbors. We are currently looking for about 30 Delaware pullets. These are very hard to find in Oregon. We have looked up and down the State. IF ANYONE HAS DELAWARE PULLETS FOR SALE, PLEASE LET US KNOW. Happy to be a new member, JeanAnn.

Hello and welcome to BYC

We have a few members here with Delawares. Maybe one or two of them can help you. Keep an eye on the BST section here:

https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/67/buy-sell-trade

You'll need a post count of 20+ before you can place an ad there, but start a thread in the Breeders and hatcheries section:

https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/16/chicken-breeders-hatcheries

Say what you want and what your location is and see what happens. Good luck!

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan

You could also post in your state thread, and check in on the Delaware thread. You may find it hard to track down started pullets this time of year, but should be able to get hatching eggs.

Sand Hill Preservation has the nicest Delawares I have had, but they only sell unsexed chicks. The cockerels make great meat birds though.
