I'm a Serama "Momma" from PA. My littles are like my kids lol. We also have a few EE Bantams. My daughter uses her chickens as ESAs (Emotional Support Animals) and we do Nursing Home, Hospice, and other site visits for comfort

What a great idea to use Seramas. I've also heard of silkies used for that.
I read about a program either in Australia or UK (my memory is mush) where patients in a nursing home each get a hen to hold on their lap. They get more talkative and involved with other patients as the hens help them relax.
