In the Brooder
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have been reading a lot about raising chickens before I bought four 6 week old pullets in May 2018.
The are just starting to lay now.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Still have the original 4. The buried hardware cloth skirt I put around the coop and run has so far thwarted all digging predators.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Rhode Island Reds
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Google Search
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Amateur Radio
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
As if I can't get enough radio, I'm a radio broadcast engineer by trade, soon to retire.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
