I grew up allmost diagonal from Poor Creek Rd. right off Rt. 11. Graduated from Riverheads in 2003

Probly not even a 1/4 mile away from that road

Now I am not familier with he poultry group in Lexington, however I am with the club around Augusta and Rockingham County. I also show in the spring show and the Rockingham County Fair in the fall. As well, my wife and I like to go to shows in Mary land, West Virginia, Ohio, and North Carolina. There is also a poultry swap at Expoland in Fishersville every 3rd Saturday of the month from 7-noon. Valley Feed also seels poultry food as well.

The club was organized by Patricia Foreman, author of Chicken Tractor and City Chicks (and other books). She lives in Buena Vista. We meet the third Thursday of the month at the Old Courthouse in Lexington. We have great meetings and we have a lending list for poultry equipment and gardening stuff. We have members with just a few chickens in the city to homesteaders with many acres. You should check this group out.
