Hi! My name is Kimberly. I live in Reno, Nevada with my husband and our Australian Shepherd, Cassie. After months of research and wanting, we finally brought home three chickens yesterday. They seem happy in their coop. After a week or so, they will be free to roam the acre but until then, I want them to know that they are safe and well taken care of. I am essentially clueless as to what I am doing but I have gotten so much great information off this site in the last three weeks that I just couldn't resist joining and getting to know you all.
Quick background on me: I am 29 years old. I am a sonographer (ultrasound technician). I have lived in Reno for 18 months. Haven't made many friends yet (so if you live in Reno...hint hint.)
I am newly married. No children but they are hopefully on the horizon. For now, its just me, my husband, our dog, and the new ladies. I have one 3 month old Easter egger and two 4.5 month old Plymouth Rock Barreds. Cant wait to get to know you all.
