I am from the great state of SD, where it is either cold and windy or hot and windy!!
I have been visiting this site for awhile, but this is my first post!! Yeah!! A little bit aobut my self...We have had chickens and ducks, but they have dwindled down to zero last fall. I am so excited about getting our flock started again within the next week. We have a couple of things to do to our chicken house.
I have a husband and we have a 11yr boy and 8yr girl, we can't keep the kids out of the chicken house when we have chickens. We do have 2 dogs, one is the best purebread "Dandy" in the world and she likes to watch over the chickens. The other is a chicken killer, even tho the chickens are just a bit larger than he is, he is on a chain at all times.
I just want to thank everyone for their posts and pics that I have seen on this site. AWESOME!!!
