Hi! Just want to introduce myself. I have my first 4 chicks and I'm so very excited! They supposedly hatched on my birthday 7/31/15. And I purchased them as day old chicks 8/1.
Black Astrolorp/ welsummer/ silver laced Wyandotte / and an easter egger.
 
You have a duplicate thread, but as I just said on your other thread, welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. You have a nice mix of breeds. Black Australorps are my favorite standard breed as they are extremely hardy, calm and gentle (our children and granddaughter made lap pets of them), and excellent layers of large, brown eggs. I love the chocolate eggs of the Welsummers. In my personal opinion, they are the prettiest eggs in the chicken world.
