1. Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Newbie chicken keeper! Will get 4 pullets in May from a friend - 2 Marans and 2 Ameracaunas. Also ordering Rhode Island Red and Wyandotte chicks.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
0 - Anxiously waiting arrival!


(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Watching and interacting with them. Always wanted to live on a farm so this gives me a taste of it in the city.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Reading, travel, gardening, spending time with family and friends

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else
I have 3 adult children, wonderful husband, and a black cocker spaniel. This spring I will graduate with a degree in Elementary Education and hope to start teaching at the ripe old age of 57!
