My Wife and i decided to buy pullets last year., So i bought them at tractor supply, and while they were waiting on a permanent home, I was quickly cutting sawing, and hammering away at what would have been there permanent quarters. We have had them for over a year and they have been such a joy. I have never seen my 5yr old son so gentle as when he is holding a baby chick.
And to watch the girls grow up and feed us breakfast as a family every morning , without fail. has really earned my deepest heartfelt respect for the clucking laddies of the coop.
I have found more information , browsing these forums, that I could have found anywhere else. And the willingness of the members of this forum to help, is astounding.
