Hello from South Orange County, CA!

Hi everyone. I've been checking the site quite a bit now but just registered because I have some problems. (Please help me out on the emergencies/diseases page.) My husband, 2 yr. old daughter, and next daughter due in November live in San Juan Capistrano, CA and have 6 (illegal) chickens in my back yard. Our local cities are all working on legalizing back yard chickens right now, and having a bit of success. Many people around here are doing it! Anyway, I look forward to the support here at backyard chickens.

I use to live in OC too. I even had rooster in the house at night because we were not supose to keep them. I eventually moved where I could keep all my critters. I am still not that far from you. Everyone thinks it is far but it isn't.
