(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

• New chicken mom! My seven baby girls are 3wks old.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

-7 (Nala, Aurora, Moana, Jasmine, Belle, Vanelope and Merida)



(3) What breeds do you have?

-Golden Buff



(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

-right now I’m intrigued watching them grow. I also think that having fresh eggs is absolutely amazing.



(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

-I love to cook and bake, just got into gardening/composting as well.



(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

-I have a boyfriend whom I live with (he has 3kids), I also have 2 dogs that are 4yrs old....Raja and Abu.



(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?

-I was googling info on chickens and stumbled upon this site after I fell in love with my allergists’ black silkie.
