Hello Everyone!
I'm Caila. I live in Southeast Georgia in McRae-Helena. I moved here from Downtown Atlanta about 7 years ago. My husband and I have 50 Acres, and I've been begging him for chickens for so long! When his Aunt bought this house, there was already a really cool coop & run here in a field, and of course my husband being in the timber industry planted trees on every inch of that field and surrounded the coop. When we moved in here about 4 years ago, we cleared the way to the coop and got it cleaned up. We just got 4 hens and a rooster back in December. Since then, we've had 2 chicks hatch the old fashioned way in the coop, and 6 in an incubator. We love caring for them, and they have quickly become a part of the family!! I'm looking forward to being a part of this community. I have a lot to learn, and love to talk chickens!
